I am fascinated by the simple alchemy of transforming humble discarded materials into things of beauty and layered meaning.

I collected dryer lint of my own as well as lint from women around the country.

Manifesting art from the daily chore of laundry, these sculptures reflect the work of marriage and parenthood, speak to the expectations of women, the choices we make and the lives we create for ourselves.
